What MyHouseDesk is
A place to record and organise your own household information, and to be reminded about dates you have entered. It is a filing and reminder tool. It is not legal, financial or insurance advice, and it does not renew, cancel or manage anything on your behalf.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. You must be 18 or over.
Reminders are a convenience, not a guarantee
We send reminders based on the dates you enter, and we work hard to send them on time. But email can fail, dates can be entered wrongly, and services can go down. The legal responsibility for renewing a policy or booking a test remains yours. Please do not treat MyHouseDesk as your only safeguard for anything that carries a penalty.
Automatic document reading
When we read an uploaded document, the result is a suggestion for you to check. It can be wrong. Nothing extracted is saved to your records until you confirm it, and confirming it means you have checked it.
Payment
Plus is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your settings and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give partial refunds for unused time, but if something has genuinely gone wrong, email us and we will sort it out.
Your content
What you upload stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, show it back to you and process it for the features you use. We do not use your documents to train models and we do not sell your data.
Ending it
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that is being used unlawfully, or to attack the service. If we ever discontinue MyHouseDesk we will give reasonable notice and a way to export what you have stored.
Liability
MyHouseDesk is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud. These terms are governed by Irish law.
