Where these prices come from

There is no national fuel price feed in Ireland. Several European countries oblige forecourts to report their prices to a public database — Ireland does not, and no government body, industry group or retailer publishes what each station charges.

So every price on this site was entered by somebody who filled up and told us. A price is exactly as current as the last driver who reported it, which is why we always show you how old each one is and never present an old reading as today’s.

Adding a price takes about twenty seconds and it is the whole reason anyone else can see one.
